I moved to San Luco to get to know my brother, and so far, it’s been great. Working as a bartender at Shenanigans, a bar close to Franklin University, there are beautiful men and women everywhere. When a hot guy falls into my arms at a party, I’m down for some naughty fun. Until I realize he’s way too drunk for anything to happen. Thankfully, we agree to meet up the next day.

One that’s super bi and wants Perry as more than a friend.
Trying to study with him makes things hard for me…below the belt. Unfortunately, his abandonment issues have him open to a fling and nothing more, while I’m catching feelings in a big way. Can I be satisfied with a hookup? Or should I find a way to convince him to take a chance on making this something real?

Franklin U est de retour avec une toute nouvelle saison ! C’est parti pour un nouveau roman chaque semaine écrit par un auteur différent. J’avais bien aimé la première saison même si les tomes étaient assez inégaux. Cette série avait au moins le mérite d’être feel good et idéale pour se mettre dans une petite bulle.
Que penser de The Hookup Mix-up ? Honnêtement, le roman se lit très vite, les deux personnages sont très attachants et si je devais décrire ce roman en un mot, je dirais que c’est mignon. Par contre, c’est plat. Je trouve que récemment, les auteurs ont de plus en plus tendance à écrire des romans sans drama pour éviter toute problématique et si certains peuvent être réussis, il arrive souvent que cela donne des romans sans émotions (dans le sens qui prend aux tripes), peu mémorables et là malheureusement, c’est le cas.
Il y avait vraiment du potentiel mais tout est un peu trop beau. On ne passe pas un mauvais moment bien au contraire, donc je peux comprendre les avis positifs, mais j’aurais voulu ressentir un peu plus la romance. Là malheureusement, j’ai peur de l’oublier assez rapidement même si j’ai adoré Théo !
