For me, it turned out to be endless lectures, avalanches of homework, and copious amounts of caffeine. The study carrel might as well be my dorm room. And that guitar under my bed? It’s got two years of dust growing on it. But this is the life I have to lead if I’m ever going to help my dad.
Pre-med isn’t for the weak.
The problem? Loneliness holds me hostage.

Mon avis

The Glow Up est bien écrit, il se lit vite, mais j’étais fatiguée quand je l’ai lu et je décrochais beaucoup. C’est presque trop lisse, trop simple, trop facile comme histoire. Il manque un peu de piment. J’ai bien aimé les personnages et leur relation mais il manquait un petit truc pour que je me sente vraiment investie dans l’histoire.
C’est un des tomes les plus romantiques que compte la série jusqu’à présent et il est peut être un peu différent dans son rythme et sa construction, ce qui est appréciable. Cela étant, je lui reprocherais la même chose qu’aux tomes précédents, c’est plat. Heureusement qu’il y avait leurs meilleurs amis respectifs pour ajouter un peu de piment dans les dialogues.
Je vais continuer la série mais il faudrait vraiment un peu plus d’action !
